I am convinced that one of the nearest equivalents to washing feet in our modern world is washing dishes.  Just as when Jesus tied a towel around his waist and knelt before each of his disciples, a lowly and mundane task that anyone in that room could have done, so it is with the day-in and day-out task of cleaning up from a meal.  No one wants to do it, but anyone in the room could. My wife was recently reminded of her parents' selfless acts as they strove to follow Christ.  This month marked 12 years since my wife and her sisters gathered around their Mother's death bed and July was 22 years since their Father died.  The tears of goodbyes that flowed much too early in life for both Dad and Mom began to flow again today as we recalled the memories my wife wrote to share with you.  Please take a moment to hear her heart. -Monty Moreland  A Legacy By Mari Beth Moreland My childhood is filled with many memories of my Mom and Dad continually giving of 1992, Cooks at "The Center" in Memphis, TN.
